About Lorie

Lorie Casey entered criminal law with a mission to help people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. “I wanted to be there for individuals facing tough situations, offering support and understanding,” she explains, “and I can personally relate to those who find themselves dealing with criminal charges.”

With experience handling cases from minor offenses, like speeding tickets, to serious crimes, such as murder, Mrs. Casey brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to each client. Her approach is to guide clients toward the best possible outcomes, whether that involves a trial or a negotiated settlement. “It’s essential to have an attorney who will not only support you but also fiercely protect your rights and interests,” she says.

Mrs. Casey earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Kentucky Wesleyan College in 1993, followed by her law degree from the University of Louisville School of Law in 1996. She was admitted to the Kentucky Bar Association in 1997.

A devoted family person, Ms. Casey is the mother of 3 sons, Corey (and daughter-in-law Amy), Trey, and Bailey. She has two grandchildren; Hadley and Jack. 

Since opening her own practice in 2011, Mrs. Casey has focused on serving Bullitt County and surrounding areas, handling cases throughout Bullitt, Spencer, and Nelson counties with dedication and skill for over 25 years.

About Kelly

Kelly Clan, a Louisville native, graduated from Sacred Heart Academy before earning her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Bellarmine University. She went on to study law at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, graduating in 2020. During law school, Kelly interned with the Kentucky Innocence Project, gaining valuable experience advocating for justice. She was admitted to practice law in December 2020.

Starting her career with the Public Defender’s Office, Kelly’s passion for helping people has only grown. She is now thrilled to advocate for clients facing criminal charges in Bullitt and the surrounding counties.

Kelly is an active member of the Louisville Bar Association and Young Lawyers Division. She also volunteers with the Bullitt County Teen Court Program and serves on the staffing for the Bullitt County Drug Court Program, contributing her time and skills to the community.

About Tracy

Tracy has been a key part of Lorie Casey’s team for over 20 years, managing the office and often being the first person clients speak with. She is dedicated to ensuring clients have the information needed to retain Ms. Casey’s services, and once hired, she continues to support clients throughout their cases to help meet their legal needs.

A proud mother of three—Erica, Taylor, and Tanner—and Nana to her grandchild Kye, Tracy lives in Nelson County with her husband, Bond Miller.
